Stayed 2 nights and did not want to leave there. We had a really great stay in Papplewick short walk to attractions such as Newstead Abbey, tourist attractions, and Newstead Abbey. The building was spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure to meet Eddie, the host, everything was perfect. It was unbeatable and magnificent by tram from nearby Hucknall...

I had a wonderful stay at this spacious, self-contained retreat! The cottage had a rustic charm with its old beams and wooden floors, creating a cozy atmosphere. It was impeccably cleaned, and there were plenty of hand washing and gel supplies to ensure safety. The comfortable bed and well-furnished rooms with free view TVs made me feel right at home. The small welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, providing me with a cuppa and snack upon arrival. The hosts were kind and considerate, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The only minor inconvenience I encountered was the steep stairs, which required some caution. Additionally, I initially had some trouble with the key fob for the electric gate, but I eventually figured it out.

We had an amazing stay at this spacious rural retreat! the cottage was extremely comfortable and well presented, with a well, equipped kitchen that was one of the best we've ever had in an accommodation. It's clear that the hosts care about their property. We were also impressed with the fantastic host, who immediately put us at ease upon learning about my wife's allergies. She even messaged us on the day of check, in to double, check the accommodation for us. the little touches like leaving safe snacks for my wife made our stay even more special. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this retreat to family and friends visiting the region. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way. 👍.
